The Cromwell Museum in Huntingdon is delighted to announce that it will be officially reopening to the public on Sunday 1 March 2020 after an extensive refurbishment. A grand opening ceremony will be held at the Museum, with a march past by members of the Sealed Knot Society, before the official opening by the Patron of the Cromwell Museum Trust, the Rt. Hon Sir John Major KG CH.
The Sealed Knot Society who will be staging a colourful march of Civil War soldiers through the town to celebrate the reopening at 1.30pm before parading on the Market Square at 1.45pm. The official opening ceremony will be at 2pm, after which the Museum will be open to the public and the reenactors will be staging displays on the square.
All are welcome to come along and watch and enjoy what should be a very special day for the Museum!
