Spinning and Weaving Workshop

Join historian Chris Carr in this workshop as an introduction to the ancient crafts of drop spinning and simple weaving.
The first half of the workshop will focus on drop spinning using fleece from rare breed sheep to create thread, then weaving thread into textiles using a simple heddle loom to create a bookmark or bracelet.
Authentic materials are provided and you get to take them away with you too!
Booking essential. All equipment and materials are included (and can be kept afterwards) and tea/coffee are provided.
No experience necessary, over 16s only. Max 6 people per session.
